Honda Baltic Offshore Week was great event

Kalev Yacht Club was delighted and privileged to host the Honda Baltic Offshore Week in Tallinn from July 22 to 27, 2008.

Honda Baltic Offshore Week was organised in co-operation with Nyländska Jaktklubben rf and Avomeripurjehtijat ry.

43 yachts were registered to the regatta: 11 yachts in ORCi 1 group, 17 yachts in ORCi 2 group, 11 yachts in ORCi 3 group and 4 yachts for the Ranking Regatta in X-99 class.

4 race days included long offshore race, windward/leeward races and coastal race. The wind during the whole regatta was tricky and weak. Because the lack of wind we did not complete one of the planned 5 w/l races. Otherwise the weather was sunny and warm and it made the regatta just great. Class X-99 completed 5 w/l races as scheduled before.
